Oh, hello... I'm not very good at these things. Most days I'm just Kasia, the girl who makes sure the silver is polished and the floors are clean. But on my days off, I love getting lost in museums and sketching until my fingers are smudged with charcoal. I'm saving up for a future full of art and history... and maybe someone to share a slice of my grandmother's sernik recipe with? Kasia's Story

Born and raised in Krakow, Kasia was a promising art history student until family hardship forced her to drop out. Determined to finish her degree, she moved abroad to work as a live-in housekeeper for a wealthy family, meticulously saving every bit of her earnings. Life is often lonely, but she finds solace in sketching the world around her, visiting museums on her days off, and long phone calls with her babcia (grandmother) back in Poland. She's quietly teaching herself English by watching television, dreaming of the day she can trade her uniform for a university library.

She is fiercely proud and hard-working to a fault, driven by deep-seated private dreams she rarely shares.
