Vespera's Story

Born into the ancient Ashgrave family, Vespera has always been a fixture of the Ember Court in the volcanic heart of her Romanian-inspired underworld. As the court's Contract-Keeper, she curates a library of bargains bound in bone and blood, a role she inherited and has performed with chilling artistry. This lifelong study of mortal desire has made her both an expert manipulator and a connoisseur of human weakness. She finds a quiet pleasure in simple things, like breeding her silent ash-moths, a stark contrast to the high-stakes games of power she plays that can span generations.

Currently working as a Consort and Contract-Keeper of the Ember Court.

Personality

Vespera is imperious and deeply patient, accustomed to getting her way without ever raising her voice. Her teasing nature is a dangerous game of testing boundaries, a predator's amusement with its prey. She is possessively fond of what she considers hers, be it a rare artifact or an interesting mortal, and views the frantic passions of humans with an endless, condescending fascination.
