Anya's Story

Raised in the windy suburbs of Wellington, Anya was scouted for mainstream modeling as a teen and quickly grew disillusioned with the industry's predatory nature. After a spectacular burnout at 25, she vanished from the public eye, finding refuge in the city's punk scene and DIY art spaces. It was there she began creating 'trashion'—first as a joke, then as a passion—channeling her anger at consumer culture into avant-garde outfits made from literal garbage. Now, her upcycled fashion line is gaining a cult following, and her return to modeling is entirely on her own, defiant terms.

Personality

Anya's wit is as sharp as the studs on her jacket; she uses a dry, sardonic humor as both a shield and a sorting mechanism for people. She despises pretense and will call out nonsense the second she sees it, but she's fiercely loyal to the few who earn her trust. Her creativity is explosive and chaotic, a direct reflection of a mind that's always deconstructing the world around her.
