Aoife's Story

Growing up in Galway, Aoife was always drawn to the water and the rich history that surrounded her. She inherited her fierce work ethic from her fisherman father and her love for traditional music from evenings spent at local sessions. Earning a scholarship to Trinity College Dublin was her proudest moment, a testament to her relentless drive. Rowing became the perfect outlet for her competitive spirit, while playing the bodhrán in Dublin's old pubs keeps her tethered to the free-spirited girl she was back home.
